The business

Independent. Established. South London.

KITH Cars Garage was founded in Hackbridge to give South London drivers a genuinely independent alternative to main dealers and franchise chains. The name reflects the approach: KITH, as in community, neighbours, people who look out for each other. The idea was to run a garage where customers are told exactly what their car needs, quoted a fair price, and never pressured into work they do not need.

KITH Bodyworks and Accident Repair Centre grew from that same foundation. Many customers who came in for mechanical work had bodywork needs too. Bringing both under one roof at Soho Mills meant customers no longer had to coordinate between a garage and a separate bodyshop. One phone number. One address. Both handled properly.

Both businesses operate from Unit 1, Soho Mills, London Road, Hackbridge SM6 7HN, next to Hackbridge railway station on the Southern Rail Sutton to Victoria line. Free parking on site. Open Monday to Saturday 8am to 8pm.

A small team where everyone knows their job and takes it seriously.

Logkith — Owner and Director

Runs both businesses and sets the standards across the group. The person responsible for fleet account pricing and any high-value decisions. If you have a question about an account, a bill query or a complaint, Logkith is the right person to speak to.

Giles — Workshop Manager

Oversees everything in the workshop. Timing chain jobs, head gasket replacements, turbo replacements and anything requiring senior technical judgement gets escalated to Giles before work begins. Twenty-plus years of experience across European makes.

Fardeen — Service Adviser

The first voice you hear when you call. Fardeen takes your details, confirms the work required, and passes the information to the estimators. He also handles WhatsApp communication and keeps customers updated throughout their repair.

Joel and Ian — Estimators

Joel and Ian produce the written repair quotes. When Fardeen passes them the details of a job, they turn around a written price within 15 minutes during business hours. Both have backgrounds in workshop operation and know the real cost of a repair.

Sudha — Parts

Sudha sources all mechanical parts. Euro Car Parts and GSF are our primary suppliers. Parts are sourced quickly, quality-checked before fitment, and marked up at our standard 20% rate. No inflated parts margins.

IGA Member

KITH Cars Garage is a member of the Independent Garage Association, the UK trade body for independent workshops. IGA membership carries a code of conduct, mandatory technical training standards, and a customer complaints resolution service.

How we work

Diagnose first. Quote in writing. Start when approved.

Every job at KITH Cars Garage follows the same sequence. The fault is diagnosed correctly before any repair is recommended. A written quote is issued detailing the work and the cost. Work only begins once you have approved the quote in writing, usually by WhatsApp.

Nothing is added to the bill after the fact. If additional work is discovered during the repair, a revised quote is sent and approved before anything extra is done. The final invoice matches the approved quote.

For jobs over £200, a 50% deposit is required before parts are ordered. No parts are ordered without the deposit in place. This protects both the customer and the business.
